Fans Demand Park Bom’s Removal from 2NE1 Amid Controversies: Self-made Scandal With Lee Min-ho, Being Unprofessional on Stage

On February 15, the 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union issued an official statement, formally demanding that Park Bom be excluded from 2NE1’s future activities.

Repeated Controversies and Unprofessional Behavior on Stage

The fan union expressed their frustration, citing Park Bom’s repeated social media controversies and her lack of professionalism during the group’s tour performances.

“Her continuous SNS issues, along with her repeated unprofessional attitude during concerts-showing a lack of sincerity that cannot simply be excused by health reasons-have gone beyond what we can tolerate,” the statement read.

They further criticized her for behaving in ways that damage the group’s reputation, “One mistake can be overlooked, but repeated reckless actions betray both her fellow 2NE1 members and the fans who have waited for over a decade. Park Bom’s unpredictable and self-centered behavior significantly harms the group’s image.”

Some fans even labeled her as a “ticking time bomb” and a “burden” to the group.

Self-made Dating Rumors with Actor Lee Min-ho

Recently, Park Bom sparked controversy by repeatedly referring to actor Lee Min-ho as “My husband” on social media and posting pictures of him, leading to widespread speculation.

When an international fan asked, “Is it for real?” she responded with “Yes.” When questioned about the deletion of her posts, she bluntly replied, “Company.”

Despite her agency dismissing the situation as “A misunderstanding due to her enthusiasm as a fan,” Park Bom’s repeated actions have drawn increasing concern and criticism.

Concert Performance Issues: Lack of Effort and Commitment

In addition to the SNS controversies, fans have also expressed disappointment over her performance on stage. The fan union accused Park Bom of frequently leaving the stage during concerts, claiming health issues that seemed unconvincing.

“She keeps disappearing mid-performance for so-called ‘health reasons,’ yet shows no real dedication to her work. Instead, she seems more concerned about her personal appearance. Her lack of passion has disappointed both domestic and international fans,” they stated.

Fans Call for Official Removal from 2NE1’s Activities

Concluding their statement, the 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union emphasized that Park Bom’s presence is detrimental to the group.

“Regardless of health reasons, continuing with Park Bom in 2NE1 will only cause significant harm to the group. We officially demand her exclusion from all future 2NE1 activities,” they declared.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 held their first full-group concert in October 2024, marking their return after 10 years and 6 months. The group successfully toured across South Korea, Japan, and Singapore in celebration of their 15th anniversary.
